Temple at Dusk on a Rainy Day
Taken from my truck window while waiting for the rest of our group to arrive. I didn't like this picture (lack of interesting/contrasting color) until I converted it to sepia. I wish I had been able to better frame the temple with the branches but this was all I had to work with from that angle.

It's Great to be 8!
For those that missed Aimee's baptism, here is a picture of her in the dress Anne made for the occasion. We were proud of Aimee for going through with it, especially since she told her primary teachers she was not interested in getting baptized.

Bevo (the car)
Andrew's Pinewood Derby car. He didn't get overall fastest car but did take home a trophy for fastest Webelos. He was probably 4th or 5th fastest overall -- respectable for a Prince.

White Pelicans
Dan and I found a bevy of white pelicans on our canoe outing. We missed some good lighting and I realized I need a faster lens to freeze action in low light situations.

Went canoeing with Dan on the last day of '08. Posting may be a bit light now that I have to go back to work tomorrow.

Head's Up!
Went to the Houston Zoo a couple weeks ago with Anne and the boys and some of their Houston cousins. I liked this shot the best -- great color and no ugly cages to deal with. Lucky that one of the flamingos was taking a break in the feeding action.
