MNP
I'm finding that my favorite pictures just happen. Mattie had her head on Anne's shoulder and looked up. The light was perfect and it worked. I could've spent all day trying to set this one up and it wouldn't have worked. This was taken with a really inexpensive portrait lens that I'm finally figuring out.

Raining Beads
Some say that all the Mardi Gras beads in everyone's attic is the real reason New Orleans is sinking.

Missy-Portrait
Yes, she is a lot of work and can be a pain at times but Missy is family. She has the appetite of an elephant and is afraid of her shadow but she loves to snuggle with the kids.

Geaux Saints!
Church today was a sea of black & gold. One guy had a jersey over his tie and under his coat. The best was a lady who started her testimony with a "Who Dat!"

One for the Birds
Went to the Audobon Zoo yesterday for MLK day. Not a great picture day -- too much sun and shadows -- but enjoyed it nonetheless.

Inseparable
Bethany had quite the treat last weekend with Cheney, Raegan, and Brooke visiting from Kingwood.

Whipple Family Photoshoot
I was asked to take pictures of the bishop's family yesterday. Here is one that I liked. I processed this with the antique photo preset in Lightroom.

Causeway Sunset-2
In the distance is the 26 mi Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge. I usually travel this at least once a day and occasionally the sunsets are impressive.

Old Dockhouse at Sunset
No wind on Lake Pontchartrain this evening -- doesn't happen often. This was taken well after the sun had set.

Mandeville Water Tower Tree
Went to a fun park tonight that has a cool light display. I can see the water tower tree from the Interstate when I drive home from work.
