Not sure if I like this antique look or not.

Raining Beads
Some say that all the Mardi Gras beads in everyone's attic is the real reason New Orleans is sinking.

Missy-Portrait
Yes, she is a lot of work and can be a pain at times but Missy is family. She has the appetite of an elephant and is afraid of her shadow but she loves to snuggle with the kids.

Geaux Saints!
Church today was a sea of black & gold. One guy had a jersey over his tie and under his coat. The best was a lady who started her testimony with a "Who Dat!"

One for the Birds
Went to the Audobon Zoo yesterday for MLK day. Not a great picture day -- too much sun and shadows -- but enjoyed it nonetheless.

Inseparable
Bethany had quite the treat last weekend with Cheney, Raegan, and Brooke visiting from Kingwood.

Whipple Family Photoshoot
I was asked to take pictures of the bishop's family yesterday. Here is one that I liked. I processed this with the antique photo preset in Lightroom.

Causeway Sunset-2
In the distance is the 26 mi Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge. I usually travel this at least once a day and occasionally the sunsets are impressive.

Old Dockhouse at Sunset
No wind on Lake Pontchartrain this evening -- doesn't happen often. This was taken well after the sun had set.

Mandeville Water Tower Tree
Went to a fun park tonight that has a cool light display. I can see the water tower tree from the Interstate when I drive home from work.

Snow in NOLA
It started snowing around 10:00pm and it's still coming down -- big, white, fluffy flakes : ) Too bad Mattie and Thomas are already in bed.

Suspended
I've noticed I like swings but getting good images is hard for me. I used a Lightroom preset to process this image and I like how it turned out. Of course, it helps to have a photogenic subject!

Hannah
This is my paralegal's granddaughter. I was lucky enough to take pictures of her family this past Saturday. I liked this one the best.

Fall at Fountainebleu State Park
During Bethany's violin lesson yesterday I took the kids here. It is a beautiful park on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain.

Red Flower
I took this back in July with my old camera. Maybe Sara can tell me what kind of a flower this is and I'll come up with a better title.

Grandma Goodwin - 96 years young
One of the better pictures of Grandma that I took over conference weekend. She still rocks!

Susan & Al - Notch Lake Hike-0531
When we were in Utah on vacation, Bethany, Aimee, and I were able to meet up with Susan and Al for a nice hike in the Uintahs. Fun afternoon with wonderful friends.

Ahhh!
Sticky hot today at the Gator Festival. Mattie trying to get some relief from a nearby mist maker.

St. Tammany Gator Fest
Went to a Gator Festival today. This is a 2-year-old that B is holding. Did you know that gators are almost always born in August?

Rose
We have a pink rose bush in our front flower bed. I'm not a huge fan of rose bushes, though I must admit they produce some amazing flowers.

Lounging Around
Sorry for the lack of diverse subjects but I tend to photograph what's around me. These days it's my kiddos -- wouldn't have it any other way. There will be time enough for other subjects later.

Shampooing in the Rain
To what lengths will a teenage girl go to wash her hair when there is no water pressure? Good thing we get lots of rain here in La!

Cosmo
Went to the BYU-Tulane game today with the entire family. Had a blast except the Superdome was really cold.

"I didn't eat the frosting!"
Been fooling around with some new photo software that Eldon & S. sent me. I have so much to learn. Here is a quickie of Mattie.
